The match saw goals from Pedri, Ferran Torres, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Kylian Mbappé, ending in a 2-2 draw after regular time. In extra time, Jules Koundé secured the victory for Hansi Flick’s Barcelona.

Ancelotti shared his feelings after the game, stating that he was hurt as his team came so close to winning. He praised his players for dominating the second half and giving their all, saying, “We did everything we could. I can’t criticize the team. I’m hurt—it was so close.”

He added that Real Madrid would now focus on their La Liga campaign, where they currently trail Barcelona by four points in second place.
